The Resistance

Declared as a Jew-free city in 1943, Berlin at that time was in fact the home of approximately 7,000 Jews, hiding in basements and attics and relying on their resourcefulness, the kindness of strangers and sheer luck. The Resistance brings the incredible story of four (out of 1,500) of the men and women who survived the war. Combining dramatic reenactments with interviews with the survivors, this captivating docu-drama sheds light on a little-known aspect of the war.
