In celebration of its 30th anniversary, Oscar-winning drama Driving Miss Daisy returns to cinema screens with a dazzling restoration. Jessica Tandy is wonderful as the titular affluent elderly Jewish woman whose resentment towards Hoke (Morgan Freeman in one of his best roles), the black chauffeur her son (Dan Aykroyd) hires for her, is gradually replaced with compassion and love. Their strong, if unlikely, bond grows deeper as they grow old together in the Deep South, proving true friendship knows no colour or creed. A timeless and unmissable classic.
